Lil’ Diggers Volleyball

Lil' Diggers is for girls in grades K-4 wanting to learn basic volleyball skills like passing, setting, and serving ... and hopefully developing a life-long love for the game!  Skills will be practiced under the direction of the RLHS volleyball girls and Head Volleyball Coach, Kristen Lehman.  To end the season, they will enjoy popcorn & pictures with the RLHS volleyball girls at a Varsity home match. 

We like to think that this is much more than just an opportunity to learn volleyball skills - this is an opportunity for our high school girls to give back to the program and inspire a new generation of volleyball players!  Plus, the “little” girls really enjoy practicing with the “big” girls.  We have repeatedly heard stories of the girls seeing their volleyball “buddy” out and about in the community and they are so proud to be able to say that they know so-and-so!

Lil' Diggers is held in conjunction with the high school volleyball season in the fall.  

Spring League Volleyball

Spring league is a competitive, traveling league for girls in grades 4-8 that want to practice hard while having fun playing volleyball!  Girls will practice approximately twice a week for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.  6th - 8th will participate in approx. 4-5 tournaments over the course of 8 weeks.  Tournaments are on Saturdays in April & May and generally within 45 minutes to an hour of Rice Lake.  

Parents, Please take the time to read the Parent & Player Handbook with your daughter prior to the season.  It can be found under the "Info & Docs" tab.  It is filled with information & expectations that will help everyone get through the season on the same page!
